Service Paws Of Central PA

Who are we?

Our founder, Leslie Kelly, had a hearing dog due to her deafness.   After her own personal struggle to raise $5,000 for the purchase of her dog, Nokie, she had a dream to help others purchase and maintain service dogs.  She created this community service organization to realize her goal.

 

Areas Served.

SPCP serves only the counties of Blair, Bedford, Cambria, Centre, Clearfield, Fulton, Huntingdon, Clinton, Fayette, Indiana, Jefferson, Mifflin, Westmoreland, and Somerset.

 

What is a service dog?

Service dogs help people live independently, making them more productive members of their community.

 

What can you do to help?

You can save aluminum can tabs, which can be redeemed for cash at a local recycling center.  We also accept monetary donations via Pay Pal, cash, checks, or money orders.  Another way to help is through volunteering.  You can apply to become a board member or simply give some of your time and talents at SPCP sponsored events.
